First day of Jr. High August 9th
I'm having a hard time believing that I have 7th graders. But these pictures prove that the Trio are growing up. I'm so grateful that they get to experience all of these new adventures together. Happy First day of School!
Clear Creek August 3rd
Our summer was so busy, we were beginning to think that we would never find time for our annual trip to Clear Creek with the help Solomons. But we were finally able to squeeze in a trip just before school started. We all had so much FUN!
Watson Reunion July 28-30th
A few days after we returned from our road trip, we were packing up again. This time to attend the Watson family Reunion. Thankfully, it was held in Show Low at Owens pond, so we didn't have to pack much. We just planned on attending each day and driving home each night. It was perfect! We only had to pack swimsuits, food and games for each day along with our table and chairs which we left there at the camp.
We had a wonderful time playing games and playing in the pond. The potluck dinners and the talent show/dance were the highlights for me.
I love my extended family and the friendships and support they give to us.

Road Trippin' Day 23
Monday July 25th was the last day of our most Epic road trip ever! We decided to spend it white water rafting in Moab. The rafting was fun, but our river guide was super weird, and the water wasn't super exciting. The kids had fun jumping in the river every so often and Adam and I loved the beautiful red cliffs and rock formations. We had lunch in Moab and then started the last leg of our journey back home to Taylor. It was a bitter sweet afternoon. We were looking forward to seeing our sweet Daisy dog and to get to sleep in our own beds, but we were sad that our trip was coming to an end. We made one last stop at the Montecello Temple and then arrived home that evening. How grateful we are to have able to take our family on this trip. We made amazing memories and strengthened our testimonies and bonds with each other. Our GMC Acadia ran like a champ and never gave us any trouble. We know that we were watched over, guided and protected on our journey and are so thankful for that blessing.
Road Trippin ' Day 22
After staying the night in Provo, we went to a local ward and stayed for the entire block. After church, we stopped at a park and had a picnic lunch and then continued our journey south to Moab. We didn't make any stops along the way, but I wish that we had taken pictures of the beautiful scenery! We arrived in Moab early that evening and just ate some microwave pizzas that we had picked up the previous day. We played a few rounds of Farkle and then went to bed early. Another pleasant, relaxing day.
Road Trippin' Day 21
We spent Saturday July 23rd taking it easy, touring Provo, and doing some back to school Shopping. We got a great tip from a friend to check out the Deseret Industries in Provo for school clothes. We were able to find tons of cute jeans for the girls there. We also went to some other stores and even went to Cabellas just for fun. It was a nice relaxing day with not too much planned. We ended the day by checking out the new Provo City center Temple. It was another one of our favorites. It was so beautiful!
