This week we said goodbye to an "old friend".
This friend came into our lives when the kids were just two years old. He took us places and showed us sights that we never could have seen without him. He'd carry us to the top of a mountain, fly us around a sand dune, And trek us through a beautiful desert. He'd often join us on Picnics, date nights and family vacations. This old friend took a LOT of abuse from our family but he rarely let us down.
He'd bring out the best, (and sometimes the worst) in us. But more than anything he brought us closer together as a family.
Unfortunately, sometimes friends get old, and they stop meeting our needs. And that's when it's time to say "We've had some great times together and we've made some great memories, but you're just not working out for us anymore". And we say "goodbye". And we move on.....

Oh, how well I remember all the leg room he offered. That is, until Adam ran him into a tree, and he was shortened by an inch or two. |

This is the last Photo we have of our Dear Ranger. It was taken just before he was sold. We hope his new owner gets as much joy from him as we have. |
Farewell Dear Ranger. You will be missed.
UNTIL.......This Guy comes along...
