Caleb had a great Baseball Season!  He had a lot of base runs and even hit a HOME RUN!! YAY!

3rd Grade Field Trip

Just before school let out for summer, the third graders went on a field trip.  Once again I was fortunate enough to get to tag along. We went on a hike to woodland lake.  The weather was beautiful and all the kids had a grand time. The hike was just 2 miles long and there is a nice park at the lake.

Extreme Yard Makeover

 For Mothers Day Adam made all my dreams come true....well not all my dreams, but he made my back yard a lot more awesome, and I LOVE IT!!

Here is an old  "before" photo of our fireplace, swing set and "lawn".

We originally just piled up some rocks as a retaining wall around our house pad.

We replaced the rocks with a nice retaining wall.

After the wall was complete we added 4000 sq. ft. of sod.

Dream come true!

On a side note our sweet neighbors got some new patio furniture, and they gave us their old set. It was still in great condition, and very comfy but it was just a bit outdated. It looked like something that would belong on the set of  "The Golden Girls". So, I gave it a makeover of my own!
