Preschool Graduation

These kids made my first year back to teaching so much fun! Not once, have I regretted my decision to start teaching again, and working from home has been such a blessing to my family.  I love these children and will miss them so much!

Last day of School!

May 22nd was the last day of school for my fifth graders. They were so excited for school to be out! Quite frankly, so was I. I love the carefree days of summer and couldn't wait for them to start.  Taylor intermediate always has a huge assembly on the last day of school to recognize its students for all of their achievements. Sarah earned an award for being on the honor roll all year and Caleb recieved an award for having good citizenship. I am so impressed by the hard work and dedication that the kids continually put into their school work and know they will work just as hard in the 6th grade! Awesome Job guys!

Track and Field day!

I wasn't able to attend the annual Taylor intermediate track and field day this year because I was teaching preschool. Thankfully, Aunt Malorie was in town helping Adam with work, so she was able to go cheer the kids on and take some pictures for me. Eliza's events were: long jump, softball throw, 100 meter dash, and the relay race. She placed first in every event! She is an amazing athlete!  Sarah's events were: the balloon toss, jump rope, 400 meter and the  relay race. She placed first in the 400 and second in the relay! Sarah is one fast girl!   Caleb's events were: ballon toss, long jump and 800 meter. He didn't place in his events, but Malorie said he did awesome. He didn't know that you change lanes in the 800 meter race, so he ran in the outside lane the entire time! I am proud of his perseverance and great attitude!
