May

May was a fun and busy month!
Eliza’s 4x100m relay took #1 at the state meet! In fact the The Snowflake High school girls and boys track teams placed 1st overall at the state meet!! We are so proud of everyone on the team. Sarah’s ankle never healed up quite enough for her to participate. She was sad she couldn’t compete at the state meet, but she was very supportive and proud of the other girls on the team.

The trio all went to prom. Eliza was asked to go by Levi, Sarah was asked by Bryce and Caleb asked Tristie to go with him. Our friend Tashina Teller came and did the girls hair and makeup. They looked stunning!!

This group was so much fun! The boys all did an awesome job planning the activities leading up to the dance.
I am so happy that our children have such a wonderful group of friends.
Angela and my mom came up that weekend as well. My mom made the courage’s and boutonnières and Angela came and did the girls nails. Magnus (Angela’s son) is a little obsessed with tractors and got to spend some time with Adam and all of his tractors.

We got a contract on our home this month. The buyers have agreed to let us lease back our home until our new temporary living quarters are done being built.
Adam and a lot of his family members got 700sq ft. Of concrete done for our new barn. We are so thankful for everyone’s help.

We were able to host the Burk Family Women’s conference one last time before we move. So many “sisters” came!! We all had so much fun together.

My Grandma Burk belonged to a “craft of the month club” before she passed away. For our craft this year, those who wanted to, completed one of  her many craft projects. I think she is proud and happy that we had fun with her crafts.

April

Braunsen came up for a quick visit and he and Caleb spent the better part of an evening building a track with blocks for their remote controlled cars.  Obviously, not much has changed in the past 10 year! Haha!

Adam and I enjoyed a day date busting through snow drifts near Greens peak. Daisy came too!!

Adam and Richard have started another year of building homes in Shumway. They sure work hard and get a lot done in a short amount of time.

We went down to the valley for Emmalee and Sam’s wedding reception. They were sealed in the Gilbert temple in January, but due to Covid concerns, they waited a few months before celebrating with everyone. The only picture I got from the party, was this one with my siblings. It was a wonderful reception! We all had a great time.

The kids are all still busy with school and track. Sadly, Sarah injured her ankle, so she hasn’t been competing with the team. Caleb has been able to run the mile race at a few of the meets and is improving every time!
