Christmas choir concert

Right after Caleb's ordination I took the kids down to the High school for their Christmas Choir concert. They had a great time singing fun songs and they even did some awesome choreography! They all did a wonderful job!

Caleb's priesthood ordination

On December 17th Caleb was ordained a teacher by Adam. Grandpa Gurr and uncle Richard were able to come as well as many brethren from our ward. We are so grateful for Caleb and his righteous heart. We are grateful that he has kept himself clean and worthy to advance in the priesthood.

Happy Birthday! They're 14!

The trio turned 14 this year. It's just so crazy how fast they are growing up. Now they get to go to dances, and... well that's pretty much the only upgrade their lives get other than graduating from beehives and decons to Mia Maids and the teachers quorum.
We celebrated their birthday a little late by going to the movies and spending the night at the world mark in Lakeside. It's so much fun to hang out together as a family.  I sure love my amazing kids.

Girls craft Day

I had so much fun getting together with Becky and Calli and making these cute wreaths. I think the reason Becki and Calli and I all get along so well is because our husbands are all so much alike, we understand each other!
I love anytime in get to spend with these sweet ladies!

Shut The Barn Door!

I'd been eyeing some cute sliding barn door shutters on various decorating blogs for a while and dreaming about putting some up in my dining room. Well, as he usually does, Adam has once again made my dreams come true!
These were actually a combined effort. I designed them. Adam cut the boards and put them together. I sanded and stained them and finally, Adam hung them.  I love how they look, and they work great too! Hooray!

Light it up!

Hooray!! I finally get Christmas lights on my house without having to do any work! This is a dream come true for me because I love Christmas lights, but hate Ladders!

Thanksgiving

We enjoyed an awesome Thanksgiving feast with the Gurrs this year. We all met in Florence, at Richard and Calli's house. The kids always have a blast with their cousins. It was a little crazy because our weather has been unseasonably warm so it was almost 100*f. While we were there!
On Friday night we went to my parents house and had a Pizza party with most of my siblings. Paul brought a movie projector and the kids all loved watching a movie under the stars!
We love our families SO much and are very grateful for the love and support we share with each family member.

Cooking with Eliza

For one of Eliza's personal pregress projects, she decided to teach some younger girls in our ward some of the things she learned in her FACS class at school.
All the girls had a wonderful time and learned new recipes!
Great job Eliza!
