Farewell 2021

2021was a year filled with joy and challenges.

Covid still rages on, and as a result, some plans have had to be changed or modified. We are so thankful that we continue to be healthy and happy.  Adam and Richard Built and sold several homes this year. This has been such a blessing to us.
I continue to teach preschool and am so grateful for my new classroom.
Adam was called to work with the Deacons Quorum and is really enjoying that calling. I am still happily serving as the primary chorister. The kids have all been as busy as ever this year with school, and sports and their various activities. We are so grateful for them and the choices they are making.
We are ready to embrace 2022!

December

To start off December, Caleb had surgery on his adenoids. Hopefully, once he’s fully recovered, he’ll be able breathe and sleep a lot better.
The kid’s choir had their annual Polar Express fundraiser on the 6th. It was a fun a cute concert and Caleb got to show off his dance moves!

The regular choir concert was held on the 8th. As usual, we loved it!

For the kids birthday, we flew to Reno and spent the weekend with the Carpenters!!! Adam and the kids went with Cliff and Elana to a nearby Ski resort on Friday. They had an awesome time!

On Saturday, we had THE MOST EPIC Party with ugly sweaters, gingerbread houses, games, a white elephant gift exchange and Birthday cake!!!!
We loved our time in Reno SO much and miss our cousins already!

For years, we’ve been attending the Snowflake High school Vespers concerts and always hoped that someday, maybe one of our kids would get to sing in it. This year, It was a beautiful concert, made even more wonderful because Caleb was a part of it.

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. After opening gifts, Adam and Sarah made breakfast, and then we went and played in the snow!!

We enjoyed Christmas dinner the China Wok in ShowLow
(That’s what happens when you put dad in charge!)
“Fa-ra-ra-ra-ra, Ra-ra-ra-ra!”

After Christmas We had Adam pick up some tubes to take with us to our favorite sled hill!

Caleb gave me this puzzle as a joke for Christmas. The picture is not my favorite and putting the puzzle together was a challenge. We had lots of laughs while putting this together.

The week After Christmas Adam and Caleb and Eliza went to Colorado to go snowmobiling with Adam’s cousin Jason. They had a great time in the snow and enjoyed Jason’s hot tub as well.

The tubes were a hit with our Johnson cousins at our favorite sledding hill!

Adam and the kids also took the Solomon family to play in the snow, then they took a quick ride over to Green’s Peak.
We are SO thankful for all the snow our mountains have received this winter and pray it keeps coming!
