Spring Break Mini Trip

Adam has been pretty busy Building lately so we weren't able to go on a long trip for spring break. We were able to spend a fun a day playing with the Hulse family near Payson though. We met them at the Natural Bridge. Since dogs are only allowed in certain areas of the park, Adam stayed with Daisy at the trailhead while the rest of us hiked thru the Natural Bridge. We all had a great time hiking together and viewing the sites.
Near the end of the loop, I told Caleb to run ahead and tell Adam to bring Daisy to where the trail meets and I could take her so he could hike with the kids to another area of the park. Caleb came back, and said "Dad has to stay by the car"
Ummm.....what ????
Evidently, while we were hiking Adam decided to try and sneak off the marked trail with Daisy and climbed up a steep mountain. By the time he got back down, there were Six park rangers waiting for him. They told him he needed to leave the park, but when he explained that his wife and kids were still on the trail, they let him stay, but he had to stay right by his car.  Oh brother!
So as soon as we got back to him, we ate a quick picnic lunch and left the park.
We drove back towards Payson a ways and found a great place to buggy ride. We spent the remainder of the day just riding and climbing on some cool big rocks.
Even though it wasn't a long trip, it was a great trip and we all had a blast!

"I like to play Bollyball"

On Saturday the 3rd, the girls had a stake Y.W. volleyball tournament. They had so much fun and were actually quite good! Our ward didn't have very many girls show up, so they didn't place in the tournament, but it was still fun to watch and play!

Finally!!!

It finally snowed! And, we finally got to play in it! This has been the dryest and warmest winter we've ever seen here. For a while we were worried that we wouldn't get any snow up on the mountains at all. Thankfully, we received just enough snow to go play in yesterday. We invited the Solomon's to join us. They are so fun and always up for an adventure with us.
We played all day. The weather was so nice. It was a perfect day to play!

More cousin Fun

While Eliza was busy baking, we were once again enjoying Stacy and Nathaniel's Children while Nathaniel attended another LDS Widows Conference.
This time it was even more fun because Malan and Deanna and Richards family were also up visiting from the valley.
We went on another fun buggy ride and then took all the kids out to eat and to see the Greatest Showman at the movie theatre.  We all had a wonderful time.

Cookies, cookies and more cookies.

Eliza wanted to earn some money for our upcoming trip to Disneyland. So, she made a batch of her delicious snickerdoodles and asked me to take a picture ofnthem and post it on Face book asking my friends if they'd like to buy some for five dollars a dozen.
She ended up getting orders for 22 dozen cookies!
She bought all of the ingredients herself and made all 22 dozen cookies early Saturday morning. It took her around 4 hours to bake them all, but she did great and didn't burn a single batch!
Way to go Eliza!
